Our pit

The monstrous trailer smoker (or "Pit") that you may have seen at our events, was designed by us, and custom built by Bullockhead Creek BBQ Smokers & Grills. It was built in mid 2017 in their factory in Brisbane, delivered to Sydney, and has been in service ever since. It clocks up plenty of miles, doing local events near our base in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, travelling to regional NSW, and even interstate.

The trailer has been painted in our signature orange, and really turns heads. It gets plenty of looks, both at events, and in transit. We are constantly adding features and refining the package, trying to be as self contained and efficient as possible.

Some interesting facts & specs :

• The trailer weighs close to 3 tonnes when loaded

• It is just shy of 7m long and 2.4m wide

• The main cook chamber is 34" diameter and 2.5m long

• It has a double skinned, insulated firebox, and is extremely fuel efficient

• Fully loaded it can smoke around 500kg of meat

• Our 6 burner gas BBQ is just there for our burgers, and the odd brekkie at BBQ comps!

• We hold 200 litres of fresh water, have on-board hot water and 2 sinks
